Marc
demonstrated considerable musical ability from a very early age. He
initially had piano lessons in Hove where he was born, and later with the late
Alexander Kelly at the Royal Academy of Music. Marc has given many
recitals and concerto performances.
Marc became an Associate of the London College of Music in 1984, has a degree in mathematics from Manchester University, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 and currently works for Citibank in the City of London. He studied Chazanut with the late Rev. Mark Hertzberg, Chazan of the St John's Wood Synagogue, was the Chazan of the Hove Hebrew Congregation in 1991-1992 and has acted as Chazan on many occasions in London. Marc has worked very closely with Chazan Moshe Haschel in forming the Neimah Singers and has developed his own individual style of conducting and interpreting the choir's repertoire. |
