We are a member organisation of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers & Jurists and are thus part of a global family constituting “the legal arm of the Jewish people”.   We are a non-political body committed to the rule of law and the role the law can play in securing human rights and in combating antisemitism.   We provide opportunities to learn about legal developments of particular interest to Jewish lawyers or the Jewish community and those who share these interests; to celebrate the contribution made by Jewish lawyers to the law and to society; and for younger lawyers to meet together and to interact with more senior members of the profession and the judiciary.   We seek to advance professional development, to provide intellectual and cultural stimulation, and to promote diversity and harmony among different ethnic and religious groups.   We join forces from time to time with other legal groups to advance our common interests in the service of the law, communal relationships and support diversity within the professions.
